Have you ever met someone who makes you feel blessed to be in their presence?  Someone who truly believes in making a difference every minute of every day.  Someone who has a bright personality and aura that you are drawn to.  Have you ever been around someone who makes you want to be a better person?  For us that person is Jennifer VanderStelt.

Jennifer joined the Service 1 Federal Credit Union Team in February of 2014.  She brought with her a drive and determination to make a difference not only in the credit union but also in the lives of her Team Members.  She is a go-getter and a fixer, someone who everyone wants on their team and on their list of closest friends.

Jennifer has a big personality and an even bigger heart.  In addition to her work at the Credit Union, being a wonderful mother and wife, she’s active in the community and serves on several committees.  She is the Special Events Director for the Michigan Irish Music Festival, on the Relay for Life Muskegon event committee and Vice President of Run Muskegon. 

In March 2015 Jennifer was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer.  This news shook the world of her family and friends. She is just beginning her battle against cancer. 

Whether it’s leading, following, or beside her, we promise to be with Jennifer and her family during this very difficult journey of treatment and healing.  Jennifer has positively impacted so many lives, we want to show her our support.
